In the 2019 meeting of the Servalli Council in Cava de' Tirreni, redevelopment works in the San Lorenzo district were approved, including the renovation of Via Troisi, road widening, parking area and equipped greenery, and renewal of public lighting, with a total cost of approximately 500 thousand euros.
Description
In Cava de' Tirreni, the redevelopment works of the San Lorenzo district were recently approved, with a total investment of approximately 500 thousand euros. The project involves the renovation of via Troisi, including the arrangement and widening of the road between via Carlo Santoro and via Atenolfi, the creation of a parking area and equipped greenery in the first section, and the updating of public lighting. Approved already in July 2016, the project was presented several times to the citizens by the mayor Vincenzo Servalli and the councilor for public works, Nunzio Senatore.
The necessary financing was only found in March 2019, when the administration obtained the funds through a loan from the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. The work is now underway.
Councilor Senatore underlined the importance of these works, defining them as overdue for decades not only to resolve the degradation but also to guarantee the safety of the students who attend the schools of San Lorenzo. The maintenance responds to residents' requests and will contribute to returning a completely redeveloped piece of the city.
