«The Museum of Contemporary Mediterranean Ceramics (MCCM) aims to dialogue with other production realities in the field of ceramics not only at a regional but also national and international level - say professors Massimo Bignardi and François Burkhardt who signed the scientific project of the newborn museum - and to become the first large interregional Fund of the entire southern area, documenting and promoting the ceramic production of contemporary art and industrial design, documenting the artists and artists/designers who have operated both in artisanal and in the industries of the sector, regenerating and renewing the millenary tradition.
