CASALE "SENATORE" OF THE PASCULANO DISTRICT WINS "GOLDEN PARCHMENT" TO THE CITY OF NAPLES FOR ITS 2500TH ANNIVERSARY THE CITY FEDELISSIMA TROPHY IS AWARDED to CASALE SANTA MARIA DEL ROVO

The 49th edition of the "Trombonieri Challenge" was a sensational and emotionally charged event, won by Casale "Senatore." The winning Casale was awarded the "Victory Banner," created by artist Paola Imposimato, chosen from dozens of works submitted following the national competition organized by the ATSC. Casale Santa Maria del Rovo was awarded the "Città Fedelissima" Trophy for the best musical-choreographic performance, created by Sara Tortorella. An enthusiastic crowd welcomed the respective teams to the Simonetta Lamberti municipal stadium with great and passionate enthusiasm, providing a splendid backdrop for the event organized by the Association of Trombonieri Sbandieratori e Cavalieri di Cava de' Tirreni with the patronage of the Municipality of Cava de' Tirreni, the Campania Region, the Province of Salerno, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, ENIT Spa, and the Centro Studi per la Storia di Cava de' Tirreni. Also present at the event was Roberta Gaeta, Regional Councilor and representative of the City of Naples, who received the "Golden Parchment" from the President of the ATSC, a work created by Cava de' Tirreni artist Rita Cafaro. The work was donated to the City of Naples on the occasion of its 2,500th anniversary and, above all, to celebrate the strong historical and cultural ties that bind it to Cava de' Tirreni. "An event that," said Roberta Gaeta, "highlights the great history of a city like Cava de' Tirreni, which has always been an integral part of Campania's culture and has always distinguished Naples and Cava de' Tirreni. And today we have learned even more that 'weapons' sometimes cannot be instruments of war, but fires of peace. "The Campania Region," said Franco Picarone, regional councilor and chair of the Budget Committee, "has strongly supported, including financially, this wonderful event, which blends culture, history, tradition, folklore, and passion into one great, unforgettable spectacle.
