Municipal Park "Falcone and Borsellino", a green rebirth
The renowned municipal park "Falcone e Borsellino" celebrates its historical role as the green heart of the city. The park offers citizens a regenerating space rich in history.
After various restorations over the past decades, the Villa Comunale, a beloved green lung named after the magistrates Falcone and Borsellino, continues to be a central point of reference for the city. Opened in 1865, the park offers an enchanting mix of English gardens and exotic delights from the Royal Botanical Garden of Naples. During the restorations, the original architectural elements were preserved, restoring the Boschetto to its nineteenth-century grace. The building of the former Cavese University Club, located in the center of the park, and which currently hosts the Youth Forum and a Third Age association in a clever mix, has also benefited from improvements, becoming a lively meeting space and social activities. The rebirth of the Boschetto not only celebrates the history and beauty of this public garden, but also strengthens its role in connecting the historic center with new areas of the city. A return to its roots, marked by shaded paths, lush plants and a welcoming atmosphere, makes the Villa Comunale an unmissable stop for residents and visitors.
