The inclusive park was inaugurated on Friday 24 May 2024 in the hamlet of Santa Lucia di Cava de' Tirreni, a work of urban regeneration, designed by technicians Carmine Timpone and Generoso Bonacci, which featured an area that has been a symbol of degradation for decades and abandonment, which hosted the prefabricated buildings from the post-1980 earthquake and which now regains its dignity.

The 4000 square meter green park was designed to meet everyone's needs, with fitness equipment, educational gardens, sound and tactile games, inclusive basketball and thematic green areas, coordinated by the manager of the Botanical Garden of Naples Rossella Muoio. In this way, the conditions have been created for the activation of numerous inclusive laboratories which will have to animate the park from now on with the schools and the various associative realities of the territory. In the field of inclusion, at the basis of the PICS projects carried out in the city, a lot of work has been done, in synergy and collaboration with the city observatory on the condition of people with disabilities and with the most active third sector associations: Fondazione Sinapsi, Pandora Artiste Association, Ceramiste Libera Mente, Misericordia Cava de' Tirreni, “Casa Mia Onlus Association Dopo di Noi, il Germoglio, Anaima, Kaliphilia Ets, Il Grillo e la Coccinella, Age Caps, APDD Association of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities , Unlimited Sports.

The objective is to provide the area with qualified and innovative services, transforming it into a multipurpose space for collective neighborhood activities, in order to reduce social exclusion, the perception of insecurity and promote integration between different segments of society, involving social enterprises and third sector organisations.
