The inauguration ceremony will be held next Monday 11 November 2024 in the presence of the Mayor Vincenzo Servalli and the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca. At 10.00 am the ribbon cutting and the Holy Blessing, given by H.E. the Archbishop of Amalfi Cava de' Tirreni, Monsignor Orazio Soricelli. Following the speeches of the Mayor Vincenzo Servalli, of the Councilor delegated to the Pics of Cava de' Tirreni Anna Padovano Sorrentino. The Governor Vincenzo De Luca will conclude. In the afternoon, at 4.00 pm, the Holy Mass will be held with the Rite of Dedication of the Church of the Hermitage, presided over by Archbishop Soricelli, with the participation of Don Francesco Della Monica, Parish Priest of Santa Maria del Rovo. The Pistonieri Santa Maria del Rovo will also participate in the reopening ceremony of the hermitage with a display of piston firing. A shuttle service will be active from the small square in front of the Church of Santa Maria del Rovo to the Hermitage in the morning from 9.00 to 12.00 and in the afternoon from 3.00 to 6.00. The recovery and refunctionalization of the Hermitage of San Martino was financed by the P.O. Fers Campania 2014 – 2020, Axis X Sustainable Urban Development of the Integrated Sustainable City Program (Pics) for an amount of 739,403.60 euros.
